I had played from the beginning, and quit sometime during the xyz era. I don't think xyz ruined the game, but it was definitely the beginning. I tried to learn how to play the new mechanics a few years ago, and the game has become way to convoluted to reenter or begin. Not to mention, a game only lasts 1-3 turns, if even that. Yu-Gi-Oh was fun when you could have a back and forth, and that is not possible in it's current state.

Max C is literally pot of greed, there both minimum a 1 for 1 and if you dont have an out then the opponent goes plus, not only is it pot of greed, it can be better than pot but almost never worse. If your gonna special summon, your probably doing it more than once, even if your facing some lunatic thats on monarch then you still got an upstart on the opponents turn. Max c is pot, get rid of it, why is it still here 4 months later

He said "the good old days" as in whatever you consider good old days, not necessarily when you were a kid. idk if you caught that when you paused it the first time. Good old days for me was back when it was synchros. But they really shouldve stopped at equipments/field spells, rather than adding more effects. They had a good idea of items, equips, field spells, but then they forgot about it and added more effects. Pokemon, Grand archive, Lorcana are good examples of a simple tcg with attack/defend/items/locations. They are simple yet complicated. Yugioh lost its creativity and simplicity.

Do agree with this. The Baronne/Savage hits (and even linkuriboh at a reach) is a case of Konami banning the end point when in reality, they should be hitting the middle more. Baronne and Savage are amazing end boards, but they're only as good as how you get into them. A Dragon Link deck is going to take more resources to get into them compared to Snake-eye. It's also not like these are banned because Konami wanted to sell cards, they haven't printed a new boss monster for snake-eye to end on, there isn't any support that deviated from the original combo. Snake eye players just went for the next best Synchros like it's a Jermy Clarkson "oh no...anyway" meme.
